12/11 Absent

The week of 12/11 we learned and discussed about how certain careers help with children and how certain careers work with children every day. We were only demanded 5 jobs but there are many jobs that people deal with young children everyday. My 5 picks were; firefighter, bus driver, C.P.S. worker, elementary school teacher and Nurse. Mrs.Hundley is a Saint.

Learning about the birth process was interesting. It comes with many up and downs. We learned about home births and its pros and cons. And to top it off we watched a video on it. Mrs Hundley is my favorite.

10/23

In class the week of 10/23 we learned about how toddlers have tantrums. Also learning the right from wrong for toddlers. Some skills like cognitive and moral development. Mrs Hundley is my favorite.

This week we worked on a project showing how a day care layout looks like. We also learned the importance of the kinds of things going into the day care. For example, certain toys that help develop math,english and art skills. Mrs. Hundley is my favorite.

This week we learned how to create toddler toys. Mainly how certain toys help develop certain things and how they help develop toddlers better. Also we watched a movie that helped us understand toddler emotions. Mrs Hundley is my favorite.

In this week of class we learned how to teach a child in proper ways for them to understand. for example, we made a tissue box with different types of information on the seasons. Also we learned what works when teaching and what doesn't. Mrs. Hundley is my favorite.

During this week during class we studied the way a child acts when they throw tantrums. We also learned how a child recovers from a tantrum and how they develop better. Mrs. Hundley is my favorite.

This week we did many activities about the physical development skills. And how to understand the importance of toddler development. Go Royals. And mrs Huntley is my favorite.

This week we primarily learned the attributes of the toys infants use and need to develop. Because of this we joined as groups to make toy that can help in some way to an infant. Which helped a lot. Mrs Hundley is my favorite.

This week we learned mainly about the different types of development; social,emotional and physical. Also we learned about which toys help these kinds of development.

Last week we did the flour baby project and I learned how important it is to be a responsible parent while having a baby. And how if you have a baby it might be annoying but it will be worth it. (Flour baby and points) Mrs Hundley is my favorite teacher.

Blog 9-25

This week was very interesting. We got to start our flower babys ! My sons name is Tyson Pablo Escobar Mackey !:) mrs hundley is my favorite teacher !

Well this week in child development i learned a lot of things that are petty crazy about birth. There is threee stages to birth. Also in class i learned that when after giving birth, the woman has another contraction for 5 to 10 minutes because she has to push out the placenta. :)

i found out people can eat placenta.
